STRATEGIC DESIGN OF INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR DINIYYAH PUTRI LAMPUNG (DPL) USING THE OPEN GROUP ARCHITECTURE FRAMEWORK (TOGAF)

Abstract


Education and learning at Diniyyah Putri Lampung, in the beginning, Diniyyah Putri Lampung using curriculum cottage that is 65 percent of religious study and 35 percent of general learning lessons. But now the use of curriculum has been matched the curriculum of modern boarding school or called Kulliyatul Mu'allimat Islamiyah (KMI). In the course of Diniyyah Putri Lampung School grew to become a religious school that is in great interest by the people of Lampung and from outside. Thus, the increase of students also must be accompanied by an increase in academic service learning and other resources. This increase is indicated by the improvement of its services. However, so far there is no development of a strategic information system in the Diniyyah Putri Lampung School that is integrated entirely. Management of learning administration is still done in the conventional so that the impact on the amount of workload of human resources.

This study aims to design strategic information systems using The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Architecture Development Method (ADM). Using the concept of qualitative research through literature study, observation and conducting interviews in primary and secondary data collection.

The results of this study get 1. ideal information system architecture in the form of 2 main activities and 16 business functions and 16 candidate application modules, 2. ideal data architecture in the form of main activities (classdiagram acceptance of students and classdiagram of education and learning) support activities (classdiagram SDM, classdiagram KEU , ADM classdiagram, classdiagram means and libraries) 3. Ideal technology architecture (inter-application flow, application platform, topology infrastructure 4. Gap or data gap, application, and technology.
