LITERATURE STUDY ON RISK FACTORS OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS IN THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY TO ACHIEVE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
With the oil and gas sector in Indonesia, one of which is located in Dumai in Riau province, it is very meaningful and useful to the Indonesia, as a strategic sector, in addition to being a supplier of state finance, oil and gas sector also serves as a national energy security buffer. Each activity in the oil and gas industries there are risks that could hamper the project also has become a very big risk to the environment, socio economic, and have a dangerous potential for life, property and the environment, the hazard can occur if the activities are not controlled and set appropriately. Therefore, this study aims to discuss risk factors and assessment techniques through comparative studies with various construction project related to oil and gas sustainability. Approximately 72 relevant journals published over the past 20 years have been reviewed. The study resulted in the need to develop a risk analysis model that can be used easily and effectively in construction projects in the oil and gas industry to achieve sustainable development.
